A mixed-reality demo for wildland firefighting, shown at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Incident commanders get a god's-eye view of a live fire on a 3D terrain table, with data layered on top: crews, perimeters, weather, and the shape of the land itself. The whole scene sits in the room with you, so you walk around it instead of scrolling through it.
I designed the terrain, the holographic globe used to move between regions, and the UI graphics that live on the terrain: how data appears, how it stays readable against a complex surface, and how the scene behaves as the user moves.
